Lacuna in our Education System.

What a filthy and murky education system that we have in India!!!. I am not cynical, but the eerie way in which our education system is moving is indeed quite appalling. I am totally bemused, not because I don't know from where to start ?or what to write? I am bewildering and in the condition like a cat on a hot tin roof  because of the current system. Why this government are running with the hare and hunting with the hounds? If they think, India could have have world's best technical or non-technical universities with the current gay abandon system, then I am sorry, I have to 'boo' their thinking. I  totally agree with the fact that we, the people of India, are the most smartest, brightest and most arduous all the across the globe. But mine dissent with our HRD ministry, is the parochial way in which they are not thinking out of the box for globalizing our universities or faculties.

Some example of  hitch and hiccup in our education system, In June 2009, our HRD minister, Kapil Sibel came rent and rave with the statement that the Government would not allow any our top notch technical universities' franchise to be out of India i.e they did't want our system to be globalize. Even 'worst' came in May 2008, when the most controversial issues that jolted the entire nation, OBC reservation bill, tabled by Mr.Arjun Singh, cleared RS and LS and became the law. And yesterday, all prestigious IIMs came with conclusion to give additional x perc. to the girls and to the people coming from non engineering background. In short, they are making law which at all are  'not' required and at the same time they are not making any law to rein the quack private MBA colleges which mushroomed all the over the nation.

Why our education system is trying to make the people to smear only in the textbook? Why the parents always see a doctor, an entrepreneur or an engineer in their kids. Why they don't see a next Dhyan Chand, a next Danraj Pille or person of that ilks in their kids? Why did aspirants thinking at lost to take admission in renowned M.B.A colleges only for the sake that they didn't score good chuck at undergraduate level? Why the system distinguish students in aisle of science and arts when student could excel in both the stream? Why we are suffering a pain tantamount to a physically challenge person? Why we have the education environments like this? Like this there are so many question that I have for our 'favorite' HRD minister.

The scourge of this lacuna lies in a parochial way in which our ministers think They feel they have prerogative over making laws and they never accept that, the democracy is of the people, for the people, with the people. Swelling number of IITs and IIMs is one of the steps that our ministers have taken in hitherto are good in order to make the world class education system in India, but they have to maintain their standards. If United Progressive Alliance really wants to see a positive change in country's education system, then they have to make fast, stringent and rigid law in order to put the system in right foot. Not only in government, scourge also lies in the thinking which our neo-parent are having in these days. They have to put a step ahead to remove their obstinate and their orthodox thinking.

If we (Yes!!!, both the government and the people) could progress a little bit in this front, then no one can stop us from setting a world class education system which could become utopia for world.
